History

The founding principal, the late James I. Barganier (1946-2020), is highly esteemed and recognized for this paramount design and innovative vision in starting the firm in July 1974. Barganier Davis Williams (BDW) Architects Associated is located in the heart of downtown Montgomery, Alabama and gives credit to Jim’s ingenuity and phenomenal works of art in attributing to BDW as one of the top architectural firms in the South Eastern United States.

The firm has earned a reputation for quality architectural design, state-of-the-art facilities, exceptional professional service, and technical expertise.

Three partners direct the firm: Dart W. Davis, Ray E. Williams, and Johnny B. Raines III. The team that supports them consists of a qualified staff of registered architects, graduate interns, experienced construction supervisors, skilled drafters, marketing department, model builders, artists, photographers, and superior support personnel.
